Farming Practices

pigsfeeding

All of our animals are raised and finished on pasture without the use of hormones or antibiotics. Our ducks, chickens, and turkeys are free range on pasture and our cows, pigs, and lambs are also in their natural environment.

As a member of Carolina Farm Stewardship Association, we support the concept of local, sustainable farming which is beneficial for the economy as well as the environment.

During the fall and winter we host a Farm Day on the first Saturday of every month. This is a great opportunity for you to come see the animals, and where they live, for yourself!

Want to come out and see for yourself? Join us for Farm Days!

What?  Farm days were created as a way to extend our off-season (non-Farmer’s Market Season aka late fall & winter months) interactions with customers. It’s a chance to see the farm, check out the animals, and shop with local vendors from the Simpsonville Farmers Market. We usually have 10-12 vendors each Farm Day.

When? From 9-noon on the first Saturday of each month that the Simpsonville Farmers Market is not operating. Usually November-May, check Facebook for details.

Who? Everyone is invited! Bring the neighbors, bring the grandkids, bring your grandma- come on! (Leave pets at home, please!)

Where? Bethel Trails Farm, 2302 Friendship Church Road, Gray Court, SC (see map, below!)
